Sue graduated with a BFA in Interior Design and a Minor in Art History from Virginia Commonwealth University.  She has worked as a Commercial Interior Designer, taught as an Adjunct Facility Member in the Interior Design Department at James Madison University, been a Marketing Representative, and a Territory Manager all pertaining to commercial interior furniture or finishes. She is currently the Cosentino Architect & Designer Sales Manager for Virginia. 

Sue has been an active member of ASID for over 25 years. While still in college she was on the National Student Council as Regional Vice President for the Mid-Atlantic Region. Sue has chaired and participating in various committees, the DSA X Co-Chair, Career Day Co-Chair, White Elephant Committee, was Student Affairs Chairperson and Professional Liaison to JMU & VCU Student Chapters. 

Sue lives in Chesterfield, VA with her husband of 36 years and their Barkitecture Kitty Jelly who is six and was adopted in 2019. She has also been recognized as a Stained-Glass Artist having her work displayed in juried shows for Crossroads Art Center and in the Virginia Glass Guild. For downtime activities it’s golf, reading and yoga.
