Emerging Professionals Chairperson

The Emerging Professional Affairs Chair and committee ensure that programming of value to emerging professionals is provided. This position is vital to the  growth and future leadership of our Chapter and ASID. This is a fun opportunity to interact and get to know recent graduates and Allied members new to the profession as well as connect them to the larger network of ASID.

Student Affairs Committee Chairperson

ASID Virginia Chapter has four ASID Student Chapters at the following four schools: Radford University, Tidewater Community College, Virginia Commonwealth University and Virginia Tech.  The purpose of the Student Affairs Committee Chair is to assure that Student Chapter leaders are trained on ASID resources, connected to the Chapter as well as informed of, welcomed to and encouraged to participate in Chapter events. This position is vital to the student chapters, the growth and future leadership of our Chapter and ASID. This is a fun opportunity to interact and get to know upcoming designers as well as connect them to the larger network of ASID.
