Laura C. Kimball, ASID, CID, IDEC, NCIDQ, is an Associate Professor in the Design Department at Radford University, instructing Interior Design and foundational design courses.  Her background includes 25 years of professional practice in commercial, residential, and historic interior design. She is an active member of ASID and served as a past president of ASID Maryland Chapter. She loves adventures with her side kick cocker spaniel; they love hiking, swimming, kayaking, and scenic drives. You will often find her touring historic properties, picturesque gardens, sacred places, and coastlines. She enjoys exploring creative outlets like writing, cooking and food styling, landscape photography, gardening, and traveling here and abroad.
