Laura is a tenured Associate Professor at Radford University's Department of Design, former Interior Design Program Coordinator and Assistant Professor at the Community College of Baltimore County and former owner and operator of LCK INTERIORS. She is a Maryland licensed Certified Interior Designer, a Professional Member of the American Society of Interior Designers, the Interior Design Educators Council, and previously a member of the International Interior Design Association. She is a certificate holder with the National Council of Interior Design Qualification.
Laura has a Masters of Science in Interior Architecture from Chatham University and a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Interior Design from Brigham Young University. She previously taught interior design courses as an Adjunct Instructor at Anne Arundel Community College and regularly speaks at various organization sponsored seminars.
Laura served two consecutive terms as president of the Maryland Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers from 2008 to 2010 and served on the National ASID Student Advisory Council 2013 to 2014, and currently serves as an ASID student chapter faculty advisor. In her community, she has served on the Board of Directors for the Historic Perry Hall Mansion and enjoys involvement with other local and regional community organizations.
Laura also enjoys traveling, gardening, cooking, scuba diving, writing and event planning.
